FAQ's

Do I need a doctor Referral?

Chiropractors are primary medical providers; therefore you do not need a referral to see one. With that said, we would love to co-manage your health with your doctors.

Do you accept my insurance?

Our office accepts Medicare and BluShield. We are out of network for other providers, but can bill to them. We are happy to provide you with a Super Bill that you can submit to any other insurance you may have for reimbursement.

What is the sound made during an adjustment?

What is the sound during adjustment? The audible "pop" made during adjustment is the sound of nitrogenous gas leaving the join. It is completely normal to hear, but not necessary every time the joint is adjusted. We are looking at restoring motion into the joint, not creating an audible.

How Often do I need to come in?

Each case is handled on an individual basis. Some patients come in weekly, but most are only seen as needed with months between visits. At the beginning of your treatment plan, you will probably be seen more often to restore health and get your body quickly moving properly. Our goal is to make you less dependent on chiropractic care and to take initiative in your own health.

Does an Adjustment hurt?

Most patients report no pain during adjustments. There is a slight chance that there will be some discomfort during the adjustment, but it is usually fleeting. Patient comfort is of utmost importance and we are happy to alter our technique to fit your comfort.

How Long are Appointments?

We see patients on an individual basis and don't like to limit our interaction to a set time. Most appointments last between 15 and 30 minutes, with the initial appointment lasting between 45 and 60 minutes.
